Istanbul Specialized Free Zone (ISBI) | An Advanced Technology and Software Focused Free Zone
Istanbul Specialized Free Zone (ISBI), formerly known as the Istanbul Ataturk Airport Free Zone, operates in Yesilkoy on the European side of Istanbul, in a strategic location close to Istanbul Airport and the city centre.
Established on a total open area of 102,696 m2, the zone was granted Istanbul Specialized Free Zone status by the Presidential Decree dated 20 February 2020, with the aim of developing advanced technology, software, information technology and foreign-currency-earning service activities.
Today ISBI operates as a major hub among Turkiye's free zones focused on high value-added production, technology development and exports.

The founder and operator of the Istanbul Specialized Free Zone is ISBI A.S. (Istanbul Ataturk Airport Free Zone Founder and Operator Inc.).
